ICYMI: Samuel Aaron Live At WLUW

On July 24th, Samuel Aaron staged a live session at Loyola University Chicago’s convergence studio. With bandmates Tyler Thenstedt, Chris “Murph” Rohner, Kaysen Chown, and Zak Taylor, Aaron performed songs from his debut album Rambler, released in May of last year. The session offered a mix of explosive rock anthems and quiet, fingerpicked ballads. The standouts were a boisterous performance of “Hotel Lobby” and a stripped-back rendition of his song “Aphasia”. Aaron delivered a unique blend of folk, rock, and rnb. His smooth vocals blended well with the violin and pedal steel backing offered by his bandmates.
