Studio Rental

WLUW 88.7 FM offers a podcast production studio for audio and video recording. The studio is equipped with four Electro-Voice RE20 microphones, one iSL console, Adobe Audition recording software, two remote-control video cameras, and one video switcher, with an additional social media live-streaming device. Audio recordings are made as Windows PCM .wav files with a 44100 sample rate, stereo channels, and 16-bit resolution unless otherwise specified.

WLUW has an ISDN line and a Comrex ACCESS rackmount for high-quality recording. We also have a VoIP phone system that allows multiple callers on a recording.

Rental rates can include a trained production assistant to work with you on your project, as well as an unedited file. Editing is available for an additional charge. We can upload your files upon request, or you may bring your own USB flash drive for file transfer. When using the WLUW podcast production studio, you retain full copyright of all material recorded.
